Adding movement to story-time engages children:

  • For the children that love to move it helps them get exposure to stories.

  • For the children that love stories but are hesitant to move, it motivates them to try new ways of moving their body.

  • Movement Story-time is a great way to get children outside. On a cold day they are moving and staying warm.

  • I include movements that help develop children’s motor coordination, sensory processing, and that help in integrating reflexes.

  • It is an open door to start imaginative play.
