Play With Cardboard Tubes

Have fun playing while working on bilateral coordination, pincer grasp, and core strength.

1. Collect cardboard tubes, marbles, nuts, small balls, and cups.

Be on the lookout for card board tubes. Let everyone you know to be on the look out for cardboard tubes.

2. Have the children experiment with propping up the tubes and putting objects down them.

3. Have the children climb onto something to release balls down the tube.

Large rocks, logs, and ladders are great places to climb up and hold the tube.

4. Children work with a partner to catch the ball with a cup on the other end.

This is a great way to work on communication and teamwork.
